River Rock Handbag

This ”River Rock” bag is an unique purse, sculptured and designed by hand. It looks like a heavy, wet river rock, but it is not heavier than any ordinary purse. Actually, it is less than a kilo in weight.

The technique is what we’re proud of, as we have invented it ourselves. It’s close to paper mashing, but it is a much more complicated process. Different materials have been used on many different layers. All this led to the creation of a very light, but “heavy” looking result, which is quite realistic – a “stone” bag that any lady could carry around on her shoulder without effort.

It is durable and water resistant. The handbag has been fortified with textile and plaster during the process of creation, so that you can enjoy it for a very long time. It’s been covered with acrylic varnish, both inside and outside. Varnish helps protect the inner and outer surfaces from scratching. On the inside you will find a nice decoupage of colorful dots.

The shutter is attached to the main body of the purse by a tough textile tape. The locker is plastic, durable and light. You can adjust the length of the handle according to your own preferences or you can replace it with another one of your choice. The handle is easy to remove and to put back on, but once attached it stays firm.

The “River Rock” handbag is 27 centimeters high, 22 centimeters wide and 15 centimeters thick. You can easily put inside your smartphone, your keys, your wallet, plus some cosmetics and there will be plenty of space for a pocket size book in addition (or a reader). Everywhere you go with this bag, people’s attention will be drawn to it.
